This place is as authentic as you're going to get anywhere around. Great people, great food. I patronize this truck frequently and not just because of its proximity to my home. It's just damn good food. If I lived in Caldwell, I would drive here for my tacos. If I lived in Boise, I would drive here for my tacos. What caught my attention first were the emoloyees, they are all soooo nice!!! The owner is super sweet!! Needless to say, I have been coming here at least once a week since. I would highly recommend them if you're craving Mexican food!! The highlight would have to be their carne asada fries but with birria instead & their birria tacos. YUM! Their burritos are also very delicious! :) ”
“ The reviews for this little food truck in Meridian sounded so good so we had to go and check it out. I don't remember the weekday that we were there but La Cruz was busy. La Cruz was parked in a church parking lot near the Jackson's gas station. La Cruz appears to be a two person crew with one person taking orders and another cooking. The menu is very simple and easy to understand. NOTE: You can pay by card or cash. I ordered a torta without meat and cheese and my wife ordered some tacos. Overall it was very tasty and very good. I would have loved to sit at a table instead of eating in the car but I hope the business grows to accommodate tables and chairs. To the La Cruz team. Bien Hecho. She was right, as per usual, and I'll never say other wise. But what I didn't expect, was just how delightful the owners are. The service, amazing. The salsa, amazing. What a delight. New favorite place to stop on my way home. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed. ”
